I honestly don’t know whether I love more Florence, the city where I was born and raised, or cooking! My parents and my grandparents gave me these two passions that merge in the recipes of our local tradition, the dishes I grew up with and that I’ve eaten since I was a girl. My house is located in the center of Florence, between the San Frediano neighborhood, which is the soul of the city, and “Bellosguardo” hill, that owes its name to the spectacular view it offers.
Among all the things I love to cook, a special place belongs to pizza: that’s why we had a wood-burning oven built in our kitchen! If the weather is fine, we can eat what we have cooked all together on the terrace, on the second floor of the house, from where you can enjoy the beauty of Florence.
