My name is Paola and I came from Emilia Romagna, a region rich in culinary traditions. Even if I have been living in the capital for several years now, I’ve never set aside my passion for Romagna’s typical dishes, handed down from my mother and my aunts. Besides the love for tortellini, the Bolognese sauce, the lasagna Bolognese and more generally for the homemade pasta, my trips to Rome, and to the south of Italy, related to my studies and to my profession as a sociologist, made me appreciate other culinary traditions of the peninsula.

My way of cooking is now enriched with Roman, Neapolitan and Sicilian recipes and dishes from the island of Ponza, a small island south of Rome. In the end, I think I have been able to create a special union between some of the best culinary traditions of the peninsula. I also offer a great view from the windows of my house located in the superb surroundings of the Pantheon, the churches and the surrounding monuments.
